Model of Care

We utilize Collaborative or Therapeutic Assessment as a model for Comprehensive Assessments. We keep you informed every step of the way about what we are doing and why.

This model guides us to ensure that we are prioritizing your questions, values, beliefs, and understanding of your self/your child as we collaborate through the standardized assessment process.

We Specialize in Evaluations for:

Autism Spectrum and ADHD for youth (ages 3+). Dr. Jenna & Jennifer Leichtman, MS, OTR/L Collaboratively provide comprehensive assessments for Neurodevelopmental diagnostic considerations such as Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other developmental/behavioral challenges.

Adults (18+), for neurodiverse adults considering differentiation of Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and Anxiety related concerns. We value neurodiverse affirming approaches, that incorporate the many strengths and assets of living with neurodiversity while acknowledging the challenges/barriers of the demands of neurotypical expectations in systems including workplace, academic, and relationship contexts.  We have increasing awareness, knowledge, and skills to accurately assess neurodiversity in adulthood that has been potentially overlooked or misdiagnosed in early childhood (commonly as co-occurring or misunderstood as social anxiety, or ADHD).

Youth and Young Adults, considering Mood, Anxiety, or ADHD-related concerns, especially with considerations around the history of Trauma and/or significant life stressors.  Working from a compassionate and strengths informed perspective, we work with youth/families and individuals to promote self-understanding, resiliency, and empowerment.  We are interested in supporting folx in the transition from adolescence to adulthood to provide clarity around identity/self, identify causes of distressing behaviors/symptoms, and guide folx toward the most effective treatment pathways or community resources.
