Dr. Jenna is a White, cisgender female, queer parent of two children- one with a chronic disability. She focused her graduate education and clinical training at Palo Alto University on Diversity and Community Mental Health. Working together may include fostering new perspectives, engaging in action-oriented change/skills, compassionate acceptance, and understanding or processing specific stressors.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, she is also certified as a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (IATP). Her passion is to serve folx through a trauma informed and person centered lens, focusing therapeutic work on incorporating personal strengths, belief systems, and values. She utilizes mindfulness and compassion practices, as well as interventions focused on better understanding patterns that lead to distress to make effective and meaningful changes with self and relationships. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process, bridging her knowledge and skills with your goals and commitment to the work. Dr. Jenna is invested in helping map supports and resources that are realistic and attainable to help you progress towards meaningful change.
Dr. Jenna's approach to therapy is relational and experiential. She integrates cognitive, emotional, and play/somatically based interventions. Your work together may involve use of mindfulness, compassion focused therapy, trauma informed perspectives, emotion focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and parent child interaction techniques focused on the neurobiology of relationship attachment and emotion regulation.

Jen has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 2014 and has experience working in schools, home environments, and clinic settings. In her free time, Jen enjoys running, hiking, reading, and learning new things.
Jen is a caring and creative therapist who enjoys supporting children with school readiness, community participation, feeding/eating skills, daily routines, social skills, sensory processing, and motor skills.
Jen collaborates closely with parents and teachers to support the specific needs and interests of each child. She provides fun and motivating therapy sessions and hopes that each child she works with gains confidence and self-awareness through therapy.
